Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 89(JUD) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to CSSB 89(JUD)? Effective Date YEAS: 16 NAYS: 3 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Begich, Birch, Bishop, Coghill, Costello, Giessel, Gray- Jackson, Hughes, Kiehl, Micciche, Reinbold, Shower, Stedman, Stevens, von Imhof, Wilson Nays: Kawasaki, Olson, Wielechowski Excused: Hoffman and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 89(JUD) "An Act relating to the Legislative Ethics Act; and providing for an effective date." 2019-04-10 Senate Journal Page 0775 Senator Costello moved and asked unanimous consent the vote on concurrence be considered the vote on the effective date clause.
